Adaptive
Adventures views a role model as one who has exceeded the
standards of the disabled community and one who has actualized
the core values of Adaptive Adventures. We identify and partner
with role models to help us to fulfill our mission and to
help us to build strong relationships between our organization
and the community in which we live.
These
role models, not only fulfill the values of Adaptive Adventures,
but as individuals, they set an example - they have extended
beyond limitations and are unifying principles; symbols of
the potential in each and every member of the disabled community.
Our
role models want
to help others, share experiences and encourage or educate
people to learn new skills and new ways of doing things. They
are industry leaders, elite atheletes and professionals and
they have overcome great triumph in their life. By speaking
on the behalf of Adaptive Adventures, our role models influence
the lives of many people by respecting and encouraging growth
and fostering a belief in the ability to achieve sometimes
seemingly impossible dreams.
