This list is meant to serve as general information and a reminder of things you might want to take.

CLOTHING - ON RIVER

  • Swimsuit or shorts
  • Rafting or tennis shoes or sandals (wool socks are great if the weather looks to be chilly)
  • T-shirt (polypropylene is good because it will keep you warm, but the life vest will also keep your torso warm on the river) Avoid cotton since it dries slowly and will make you cold.
  • Unlined nylon windbreaker (optional) • Unlined nylon pants (optional)
  • Wet Suit (optional) CLOTHING - OFF RIVER
  • Dry Underwear, pants & shirt • Jacket or rain poncho (optional)
  • Dry shoes & socks FOOD
  • BYO Beverage (beer, pop, etc.) and sack lunch – NO GLASS! MISCELLANEOUS
  • Sunscreen
  • Insect repellant
  • Sunglasses
  • Hat
  • Camera

GENERAL

  • Release form must be signed for each rafter.

PERSONAL GEAR FOR MULTIPLE DAY RAFT TRIPS

CLOTHING

  • Same as single day trip adjusted for trip duration MESS GEAR
  • Cup, plate and silverware CAMPING GEAR
  • Waterproof River Bag – All personal gear must fit in your bag!
  • Tent – two man light weight (share if possible)
  • Sleeping bag
  • Pillow (optional)
  • Soap (non alkaline), toothbrush and toothpaste (No one usually shaves)
  • Towel
  • Trash bags with ties (in case your water proof bag leaks)

FOOD

  • Beer or Pop – about a six-pack per person per river day is about right
  • Food and water are provided on multiple day trips

A dry bag is advisable for carrying your personal gear
